About Vicki Boucher
Gain confidence in offering your clients the profound science of Ayurvedic cleansing therapies. Ayurvedic cleansing therapies are the ultimate tool a natural therapist can have in their tool kit to support your patients on their path to wellness and vitality. Ayurvedic detoxification removes toxins and excess doshas from the body which are the main causes of disease and imbalance. It is also a therapy that can be used seasonally or yearly to maintain health and vigour or as a tool to encourage healthy ageing.
Unlike most cleansing therapies Ayurvedic cleansing penetrates the deeper macro and micro channels of the body. It is therefore more than just a gut and liver cleanse. It leads to improved agni (GIT and metabolic digestion) at a gut and cellular level, and overall better absorption of nutrients. They are particularly effective in metabolic, degenerative, chronic, immune, gut, skin and stress related conditions.
After offering your clients these detoxification therapies you are then able to proceed in offering Rasayana (rejuvenation) protocols.
In this course you will learn:
– How to perform these therapies with confidence to improve your clients health and vitality.
– The history and philosophy behind Ayurvedic cleansing, pre and post therapies to ensure a successful cleanse.
– Times when such therapies are best performed and contraindications.
– Why its important to remove ama prior to detoxification therapy
– Which herbs and medicines to use during the procedure and afterward for rejuvenation.
– Why particular foods are prescribed before and after cleansing to rebuild a healthy digestive system.
